On May 14, the Europe Day celebration took place on Heroes’ Maidan Square, where ZNTU students also took part.
The celebration of Europe Week has started in Zaporizhzhia. This year, the holiday takes place over 7 days, due to important reasons: Ukraine received a visa-free regime with Europe, and this year our country is also hosting the international competition «Eurovision».
Despite the rainy weather, the people of Zaporizhzhia came to the festival to demonstrate their position and support the country in such an important period for it. The sports aerobics team of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University opened the festival.
Students of ZNTU also took part in the European arena. Among them were representatives of departments and divisions of the university, the international student organization BEST, who presented our cooperation with the countries of the European Union and demonstrated the latest technologies that our students design already in the first years of study.
At the event, European countries were presented together with their traditions, clothes, lifestyle and even cooking. In addition, the program included the performance of songs in different languages, an exhibition of military equipment called «Patriotic Spring».
