Energy Day at ZNTU
Energy Day is a celebration of everyone who has ever been involved in the creation and maintenance of energy systems. It is also a holiday for those who are still in a responsible position as an employee of the energy industry. Finally, Energy Day is a holiday for everyone for whom the concepts of «heat» and «light» are not just words.
The importance of this profession cannot be overestimated. Workers in this field supply electricity to hospitals, schools, and homes. People are so used to such living conditions that, unfortunately, they remember the professions of energy workers and electricians only when this benefit of civilization stops being supplied for various reasons.
On the occasion of such a celebration, thanks to the students of the professional office of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Center for Culture and Leisure of ZNTU students, on December 15, 2017, a festive greeting was held in the assembly hall. There were many guests! It was extremely pleasant to see the graduates of past summers, who did not forget this solemn day and visited the walls of «Mashinka» to see former friends and see the smiles of their favorite teachers.
The festive concert began with greetings from the rector – Serhiy Borisovich Belikov and the dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering – Mykola Leonidovich Antonov. The best students and teachers were invited to the stage to be awarded for their significant contribution to the development of science and the faculty.
STEM was not complete without fiery dances, songs! It is interesting that students from other faculties participated in the celebration.
We would like to note that the preparations for the holidays of this faculty always take place at the highest level, because ETF is one family where understanding and mutual assistance prevail! It is here that the best of the best – future energy workers study!
