Donor Day

Being a donor is an honorable and truly noble thing! The donor saves free of charge, gives a chance to resurrect and be born again. Therefore, it is really important that twice a year at the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, the students’ trade union committee organizes Donor’s Day, where caring students fulfill their great mission – contribute to saving lives.

On March 17-18, 212 people took part in the Donor Day at «Mashinka». Among them are 210 students, as well as 2 employees of the university. Zaporizhzhia blood transfusion station was invited by the administration and trade union committee of ZNTU students, and tea and buns were provided for donors.

If we turn to the statistics, the largest number of donors are students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (44 people), as well as students of the Faculty of Humanities and Law (29 people) and students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology (23 people).

Also, part of the blood will go to needs within the framework of the charity project of the Zaporizhian Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church «Love is Merciful».

So we thank the donors for their charity and are proud of our caring students!
