Let’s do good together!
On March 24, with the assistance of the student trade union committee at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, a meeting of volunteers of the Zaporizhzhia regional organization «Red Cross Society of Ukraine» with the student youth of ZNTU took place.
The meeting was dedicated to World Tuberculosis Day and was held in an unusual format.
The topic of the event is very relevant. The goal was to raise students’ awareness of the global tuberculosis epidemic and methods of prevention and treatment of this dangerous disease.
The peculiarity of the meeting was the informal communication between volunteers and students. This allowed students to learn much more about the disease and get answers to all their questions. The vivid presentation improved the perception of information by the audience.
After an interesting and informative meeting, everyone was able to chat during a coffee break and take part in the master class «Flowers from candies». The students showed originality and creativity in making flowers. The homemade candies will be donated to children suffering from tuberculosis.
