Battle of Universities: student film festival
The last chords are played and the frames are shown. That’s it – the 6th, final stage of the Battle of the Universities is over. All this time, we fought heroically for the title of the best higher education institution, and finally the struggle is behind us.
The final stage was held on the basis of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. Enthusiastic eyes of students from all universities surveyed the ZNTU assembly hall, eagerly waiting for the start. And here it is – the first frames are already on the screen.
For two hours, all those present had the pleasure of watching films created by talented students of Zaporizhzhia universities. The following higher education institutions took part in the competition: Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, Zaporizhzhia National University, Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy, Classical Private University, Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, Zaporizhzhia Institute of Economics and Information Technologies.
All of them were presented at the festival with short films. Since there were no restrictions on the number or direction, some participants showed several films, each of which found a response in the hearts of the audience.
The film ZDIA, which combined not only modern music, but also humorously presented the above-mentioned educational institution, caused a stormy reaction. Also, the jury singled out several works of ZNTU. They enthusiastically commented on the animated cartoon about the everyday life of students in the dormitories, and highly appreciated the documentary film dedicated to the history and present of our university.
According to the results, the jury distributed the prizes as follows:
3rd place was taken by Zaporizhzhia National Technical University;
The 2nd place was rightly awarded by the jury to ZDIA,
First place went to ZNU.
Looking at the results of previous competitions, we can proudly say that the machine is the best university, and now everyone knows about it.
