«Alarm Clock»: a shot in the heart and confession to a priest
On April 22 at half past six in Dnipropetrovsk, an «explosion» of positive emotions and experiences occurred. A time bomb exploded at the opening of the XXI International Festival of Youth Theaters «Rampa – 2013». The festival was held with the participation of teams from different parts of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. The teams shot each other during five competitive days, from Monday to Friday, April 22 to 26. The culmination of the «tragic event» was the Saturday gala concert, where representatives of all participating teams «added pepper to the salad».
Dangerous guys with the program «When the children stop singing» – The team of our famous «Mashynka» – «Budylnyk» took over the baton last, but this did not affect the quality of their criminal humor. The desire to get «fingers» (a hand that timidly goes on stage – the unchanging emblem of «Rampa») and shoot as many people as possible (those who have seen the miniature will understand), was the locomotive of the mafia movement of «Budylnyk».
In the words of the organizers, «Everything in »Budylnyk« was ingenious and simple, a mass of absurd irony and banality, which brought the audience to laughter through tears». «The text could be disassembled into quotes, and the actress left in Dnepropetrovsk» – everything is perfect!
The audience not only applauded standing, but also whistled, shouted and supported the performers in every way. «Alarm Clock» woke up the sleeping Dnipropetrovsk and showed that the last day of the competition is as fun and exciting as the first. And at the gala concert, «Alarm Clock» became the «highlight» of the festival and won the audience award, which it brought to Zaporizhzhia, to its native university.
