beBESTies
On September 18, Zaporizhzhia National Technical University hosted an event for university students called beBESTies. The organizers of this event were members of the Council of Students of Technical Universities of Europe (BEST Zaporizhzhia), a constantly growing European student organization based at our university. This event was aimed at familiarizing students with the structure and activities of the Council both at the local and international level.
Speakers were: BEST President Anastasiia Maksimovska (staff, GF-315) and member of the organization Hrytsev Vladyslav (staff, RT-815).
The event was divided into two parts. The first part of beBESTies was dedicated to familiarizing students with the basic principles of the organization’s activities. The following topics were discussed:
– organization structure;
– BEST projects;
– prospects for ZNTU students;
– functioning of the organization’s working groups;
– advantages of BEST members in the labor market.
In the second part, a presentation was held on the topic of educational courses abroad. The participants of the event had the opportunity to learn useful information:
– what are BEST courses;
– how to get to them;
– what are the rules for submission;
– how to travel cheaply in Europe.
After the event, students were invited to have coffee, where they had the opportunity to talk with representatives of the organization, get answers to all their questions, fill out the application form for admission to BEST, and learn how the personal experience of working in the Student Council helped its members in their professional and personal lives.
