Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe BAYHOST
The Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe BAYHOST promotes the development of scientific exchange between Bavaria and the countries of Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. The main task of BAYHOST is to provide Bavarian higher education institutions with expert support in establishing and deepening cooperation with partner countries in the region. This task is achieved by providing assistance in establishing direct contacts; searching for information on existing cooperation in the field of science and teaching; providing scholarships for students and postgraduate students from both the target countries and Bavaria; consultations on study opportunities, research work, internships, and receiving targeted grants and scholarships.
BAYHOST offers for students and scholars from Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe:
- – Annual scholarship program of the Free State of Bavaria for studies in Bavaria;
- – Grants of the Free State of Bavaria Summer School for studies in German language courses in Bavaria;
- – Mobility grants for scientific internships of students and young scholars.
