15 Ukrainian citizens have the opportunity to study for free at Polish universities — applications are still being accepted
According to Art. 2 Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Poland, the Polish side is ready to accept citizens of Ukraine for free education (without payment of scholarships) to higher educational institutions in Poland for the 2017/2018 academic year:
– Up to 2 people to study for a master’s degree (full cycle of bachelor’s + master’s studies – 5 years);
– Up to 10 people for partial/semester study (bachelor’s programs, second semester of the academic year);
– Up to 3 people for training (internship) before graduate school.
Please note that all expenses (accommodation, food, travel, etc.) related to the stay in Poland are covered by the participant.
Education is conducted in the Polish language at universities subordinated to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland (ie, without medical and artistic specialties).
Candidates for a master’s degree (if necessary) also undergo – within the framework of the agreement – a one-year language preparatory course. If the candidate refuses to take the annual preparatory course, he can take part in the competition if:
– established contact with Polish higher education institutions and registered in the system of electronic recruitment for studies;
– he has a preliminary confirmation of admission to study from a Polish higher education institution.
These criteria/requirements do not apply to a person who will participate in a one-year preparatory course.
Before coming to Poland, you need to have an insurance policy in case of illness or accidents (this can be done in Poland at the National Health Fund NFZ).
The Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine will accept applications (a completed application form and necessary documents) in electronic and paper formats (in 2 copies, the 2nd copy is a copy).
