15th ZNTU Tourist Evening — Year-end Results in Video and Songs

As is known, the first information about tourist traffic in our educational institution dates back to 1902. The opinion of D. M. Podderyogin, the first director of the Aleksandrovsky Mechanical and Technical School (now ZNTU), that «education should be gained not only in classrooms, but also in observations of nature, in the perception of works of art, in the intelligent organization of entertainment…» is still relevant today. This appeal is guided by tourists from the ZNTU tourist club «Romantik».

Over 500 tourists from ZNTU and the whole city took part in the evening, which was held in the ZNTU assembly hall on December 12, 2014. The evening showed original films about the best sports trips of Zaporizhzhia tourists in the past season. 8 films were shown about hiking, skiing, mountain and water difficult hikes of the highest difficulty categories. Those present applauded the film about the hike in the Pamirs by a group of students of the ZNTU tourist club «Romantik» led by Ihor Deribas, who opened a new pass with a height of 4330 meters, which they called the pass of «Zaporizhzhia Romantics», climbed the seven-thousander Lenin Peak (7134 meters).

And in the second part of the evening there was a concert of original songs in which the ensemble «Unheard of Profit» took part, consisting of: Tetiana Prybyl, Serhii Ignatiev, Mykola Isaev, as well as Olya and Tanya Chikalov, Natasha Bychko, Volodymyr Antonov, Inna Gromova, Hennadii Kaplan, Hanna Kiyashchuk, Yurii Kulbaka, Vasyl Naruzhnyi, Yurii Panfilov, Hennadii Semelyuk, Mikhailo Troepolsky, Oleksandr Shellar and Maksym Shcherbakov. The concert participants sang well-known favorite songs, there were several premieres in the author’s performance, and at the end the anthem of the tourist club «Romantik» was played. After the evening ended, a significant number of its participants continued to communicate until the end of the city transport work.
