Zaporizhia will train specialists on whom the digital future of Ukraine depends

On March 17, during the roundtable “Communication Synergy: Joining Efforts to Train Digital Network Masters”, the issue of restoring the digital infrastructure of the city of Zaporizhia was discussed. Representatives of the government, business, and education sectors joined the event.

The Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University was presented by the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Technologies, Maria Tyagunova, and Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Systems and Networks, Svitlana Hrushko.

The participants emphasized the region’s urgent need for specialists: hundreds of network installers and digital infrastructure support specialists are needed. Therefore, the priority direction is the creation of systematic training of personnel with an emphasis on the practical component, dual education and close cooperation with employers. This approach will allow students to work on modern equipment and gain experience that is as close as possible to the real conditions of professional activity.

During the meeting, the capabilities of each party were outlined and the main steps for further interaction were determined. University representatives expressed their readiness to professionally support the proposed initiative, share educational experience and participate in the development of an educational and methodological base.

This meeting was the first step towards the formation of a modern system of training specialists capable of working with digital networks, restoring infrastructure and ensuring stable communication in the region. Ahead is the active implementation of new educational courses, the development of laboratory facilities, and further effective cooperation of all participants in the round table “Communication Synergy: Joining Forces to Train Masters of Digital Networks” to train specialists ready for the real challenges of the industry.
