‘Regional Innovation Hub’ at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was established with the aim of: creating a regional centre to support invention, innovation and start-up projects; operating a platform for training and educational events in the field of innovation and intellectual property; and fostering a supportive environment for a community of innovators, creators, entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.
Regional Innovation Hub of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University:
serves as a platform for fostering collaboration between businesses and students, promoting innovation, research, education and sustainable development;
encourages innovative projects and start-ups through start-up incubation, the organisation of competitions and grants for start-ups, and collaboration with venture capital funds and investors;
is involved in staff training through the delivery of practice-oriented educational programmes, vocational training and certification, as well as work placements and internships within companies;
facilitates networking and partnerships by organising forums and conferences, setting up accelerator programmes that help young entrepreneurs develop their business ideas from concept to market, and fostering international cooperation;
is driving technological transformation and digitalisation to create the conditions for the development of digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain, which contribute to the growth of the digital economy; the implementation of Industry 4.0 tools and automation;
supports innovation through social projects and entrepreneurship, sustainable development and environmental innovation.
