Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University took part in the launch of the international Erasmus+ CBHE SEDWU project
In December 2025, representatives of the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” joined the Kick-off meeting of the international Erasmus+ CBHE project “Scalable Electronic Document Workflow for Universities: Enhancing Efficiency, Autonomy and European Integration (SEDWU)” 101237141 — SEDWU — ERASMUSEDU-2025-CBHE, which is implemented with the support of the European Union. The project is aimed at creating and implementing a modern scalable model of electronic document workflow for universities, which will ensure increased management efficiency, transparency of administrative procedures and strengthening the institutional autonomy of higher education institutions.
The meeting was held at the University of Bayreuth (Germany) with the participation of partners from Ukraine and the Member States of the European Union. The event program was rich and included intensive work in working and discussion formats, which made it possible to study in detail the project concept, its goals, the structure of work packages and expected results, as well as to agree on common approaches to implementing the planned solutions into the internal management and educational processes of partner universities.
NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” was represented in the project by the vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and prospective development, the university project coordinator Ruslan Kulykovskyi, and the head of the educational department Vitaliy Shyrokobokov. During the working sessions and discussions, they participated in the analysis of practical aspects of document workflow digitalization, in particular, the automation of educational and organizational processes, optimization of interaction between structural units, and reduction of the administrative burden on employees and students.
A significant amount of work was devoted to the coordination of management and administrative mechanisms for project implementation, including the distribution of roles and responsibilities between partners, the organization of effective internal communication, approaches to monitoring task performance, and compliance with the requirements of the Erasmus+ program for substantive and financial reporting. This format of work allowed us to form a common vision of the further stages of the project implementation and lay the foundation for further coordination of actions between partners.
The participation of NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” in the SEDWU project is an important element of the university’s systemic digital transformation, aimed at modernizing management processes, improving the quality of educational and administrative services, and integrating the university into the European educational and digital space.
The results of joint work during the inaugural meeting will become the basis for further practical implementation of project solutions at the university!
