Education of foreign citizens and stateless persons at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University

National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic” has a high status in the field of training of foreign citizens. Specialists who received an education at Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic National University are competitive not only in their homeland, but also on the global labor market.

Work with foreign citizens was started at our university in 1973. Since the first graduation in 1978, more than 1,650 foreign students from 72 countries have received diplomas. They were representatives of Eastern Europe, the USA, the Middle East, the People’s Republic of China, Africa and Latin America.

Since 1991, the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University has had a preparatory department for foreign citizens. The original training program, as well as many years of work experience of teachers, allows students to quickly master the Ukrainian language and the basics of technical and economic disciplines. Students who graduated from the preparatory department have high indicators of knowledge that meet the requirements of the chosen specialty. During the work of the preparatory department, about 550 foreign citizens received certificates of its successful completion.

Upon completion of studies, the graduate receives a state-style diploma of graduation from a university of the highest accreditation level.
