The mission of the faculty is to develop a creative personality, a highly qualified specialist with an awareness of the economic way of thinking and its application for making informed decisions and responsibility for the effectiveness of the company's activities and its own business in the competitive environment of Ukraine and abroad in order to effectively develop the country and improve living standards. The concept of training specialists at the Faculty of Business Technologies and Economics is high-quality training of higher education graduates who are able to effectively implement the acquired professional competencies in the modern business environment through the integration of business technologies in management, public management and administration, marketing, accounting, financial operations, business planning, entrepreneurship, customs activities, e-commerce, international economic relations, tourism, hotel and restaurant business.

Department of Economics and Customs

The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in educational programs of the specialty: C1 "Economics and International Economic Relations". The year of foundation of the department is 2007.

Department of Accounting and Finance

The department trains bachelors and masters in the following educational programs: D1 "Accounting and Taxation", D2 "Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market". The year of foundation of the department is 1996.

Department of Management and Administration

The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in the following educational programs: D3 "Management", D4 "Public Management and Administration". The year of foundation of the department is 1993.

Department of Marketing and Logistics

The department trains bachelors and masters in educational programs of the specialty: D5 "Marketing". The year of foundation of the department is 2000.

Department of Business and Management

The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy in the following educational programs: D7 "Trade", D3 "Management". The year of foundation of the department is 2015.

Department of Digital Technologies in Business and Economics

The department provides teaching of disciplines that form the ability to use mathematical tools for the study of socio-economic processes, skills in using modern information and communication technologies, the ability to apply computer technologies and modern software to obtain and process data in the subject area. The year of foundation of the department is 2007.

Faculty History

The faculty of International Tourism and Economics has been operating since 2007. Today it is one of the largest and most powerful structural divisions of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.

The faculty has almost 900 full-time and part-time students in the following specialties: 241 Hotel and Restaurant Business, 242 Tourism, 051 Economics (educational programs: Customs, Personnel Management and Labor Economics, Digital Economy and E-Business).

Over the years of its existence, the faculty has trained more than 4,500 specialists who work in organizations and enterprises both in Ukraine and abroad (Turkey, Italy, Poland, Canada, the United States of America, China, Vietnam, Thailand, the Dominican Republic, Singapore, and others). Among the graduates of the faculty are many managers and leading specialists of tourism enterprises, banking sector, industrial enterprises, state structures, as well as successful entrepreneurs.

The faculty has four departments: tourism, hotel and restaurant business; economics and customs; foreign languages ​​of professional communication; information technologies in tourism.

The educational process and scientific research are provided by: 7 doctors of sciences, professors; 27 candidates of sciences, associate professors; 4 senior lecturers.

The faculty provides in-depth study of a foreign language, which gives students the opportunity to participate in academic mobility programs, undergo internships and internships abroad. The competitive advantage of the training of specialists of the faculty is the practical orientation, which is aimed at meeting the requirements of customers of educational services and other interested parties.
