About the department
In the era of digital transformations and intellectualization of society, the mission of the "Mathematics" department is the thorough mathematical training of highly qualified and competitive specialists in any field.
Our goal is to educate a new generation of engineers, economists, and scientists capable of conducting in-depth analysis of complex processes, solving economic and technical problems using modern methods.
The "Mathematics" department provides teaching of higher mathematics, probability theory, fundamentals of system analysis, discrete mathematics and mathematical modeling. Scientific research of the department covers a wide range of fundamental and applied problems of modern mathematics, economics, mechanics, electrodynamics and numerical modeling. Great attention is paid to career guidance activities.
