All-Ukrainian scientific and technical conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists with international participation «Youth in aviation: new solutions and promising technologies»
On November 21–22, the first scientific and technical conference dedicated to future aviation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion was held at the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology, dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, the 95th anniversary of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the 20th anniversary of the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology, and the 80th anniversary of the State Enterprise «IVCHENKO-PROGRES».
The conference was opened by the executive secretary of the conference, associate professor of the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology, Olha Babenko. The participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Vadym Shalomeyev, Deputy Director of the State Enterprise Ivchenko-Progress for Scientific Work Yurii Torba, Deputy Chief Engineer for Aviation and Ground Subjects of JSC Motor Sich Pavlo Kharenko, Professor of the Georgian Technical University Raul Turmanidze (Tbilisi), Professor of the AGH University of Science and Technology named after Stanislav Stasich Michal Bembenek (Krakow), Head of the Aviation Engineering Program of the Georgian Technical University Professor Ramil Zukakishvili (Tbilisi), Professor of the Lublin University of Technology Mykhailo Pashechko, Professor of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas Lyubomyr Ropyak.
Traditionally, the event’s partners are SE «IVCHENKO-PROGRES» and JSC «Motor Sich», which always support innovative projects and promote the professional growth of young talents.
Scientists gathered to present their ideas, impress with creativity and jointly shape the new future of the industry. Scientists from leading scientific and educational institutions of Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic presented their reports at the conference.
The conference had four sections: design and strength, production and repair technology, aviation production materials, support and organization of production.
Participation in the conference is an important step for students, postgraduates and young scientists. This contributes to their scientific and educational development, expanding knowledge, as well as improving the quality of testing PhD dissertations.
The Youth in Aviation Conference is not only a platform for exchanging ideas, experience and scientific achievements, but also a space for the birth of new solutions and promising technologies that will become the basis of the future of aviation. A symbol of the fact that even in the most difficult times, science, education and youth remain a source of light and hope. The ideas, developments of students, postgraduates and young scientists, their desire to change the world for the better – this is what will help Ukraine not only survive, but also confidently move forward, towards development and prosperity.
