Congratulations to the winners of the Business Ideas Competition «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» – 2025!

On April 28, the grand finale of the III Business Ideas Competition «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» took place, which this year is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

University students and graduates, college students and schoolchildren participated. Over 40 business ideas were registered for the competition, and more than 70 people received certificates of completion from the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC).

12 business ideas successfully passed the selection stage to be presented in the finals to experts. The expert commission included representatives of the competition’s partner companies: Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation (UKRNOIVI), Motor Sich JSC, Vilni UA Center for Support of Public Initiatives, Zaporizhzhia Cluster «Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering», Zaporizhzhia Regional Federation of Employers, ZOSPPR «Potential», Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Noosphere Engineering School, Credit Agricole Bank, Network of Technology and Innovation Support Centers, National Hub of Intellectual Property and Innovation, Zaporizhstal PJSC, ALD ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC and others.

The finalists and guests were congratulated by the university rector Viktor Hreshta, vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko, and deputy director of UKRNOIVI Ihor Parenchuk.

12 teams successfully presented prepared business ideas, learned the opinions of experts and talked about the further development of their developments:
— 3-T (innovative tactical cart for transporting goods)
— AirSunBoost (project to increase the efficiency of solar power plants)
— Beauty Drive (hairdresser on wheels)
— CNC_Tech (software with integrated AI for analyzing 3D models)
— Digital Dreamers (innovative GPS case for a smartphone)
— EnergyHub+ (autonomous coworking center with alternative energy sources)
— FitHome (fitness ecosystem using AI)
— Gatitos (innovative coworking where you can work with your pets)
— NeonBrains (a comprehensive solution for your business)
— PolyDuo (smart assistant for people with visual impairments)
— Children’s Polytechnic (educational and scientific student activities to solve the problem of lack of practical skills and limited access to modern technologies in school education)
— MO (military board game for improving leadership qualities)

Business communication continued during a relaxed coffee break while the final scores were tallied and voting continued to determine the winner in the Audience Choice Award nomination.

Pro-Rector Vadym Shalomeyev, Head of TISC of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Nataliia Vysotska, Director of the Education for Business and Career Training Center Anastasiia Zerkal, and Head of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduate Students, Doctoral Students, Young Scientists and Specialists of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Serhiy Leoshchenko were invited to celebrate the finalists, announce and award the winners.

1st place — «CNC_Tech»: Ivan Bushman, Tymofiy Grechany and Oleh Savchenko
2nd place — «3-T» team: Tymofiy Panarin, Yaroslav Shefer, Volodymyr Osadchy
3rd place — «AirSunBoost» team: Zakhar Lytvynenko

The audience award went to the Beauty Drive team consisting of Dan Dulida and Olena Borysenko.

The winners were awarded with nice prizes from the students’ trade union committee and bonuses. They will also receive free consultation from Nataliia Vysotska, head of the Center for Technology and Innovation Support of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.

The finalists were also awarded in special nominations from the competition partners:
— Vice President of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Andriy Kuts recognized the winner in the special nomination of the ZCCI — the team «Neon Brains» consisting of Diana Dementieva, Anastasiia Morya and Iryna Nechaeva.

— Dmytro Gradinarov, Head of the Personnel Motivation Department of JSC Motor Sich, and Alyona Gavrylenko, Head of the Personnel Training and Development Department of JSC Motor Sich, named the winners in a special nomination from JSC Motor Sich. These are the teams CNC_Tech, AirSunBoost, and Young Officer, consisting of Mykhailo Ilchenko, Valeria Siroy, and Rodion Sevastyanov.
— Oleksandr Mishyn, Senior Manager of the Operational Improvement Department of PJSC Zaporizhstal, and Serhiy Koypish, Head of the Personnel Selection, Recruitment, and Development Department, recognized the winners in their special nomination. The winners were «CNC_Tech» and «AirSunBoost», and Ivan Bushman, Timofiy Grechany, Oleh Savchenko and Zakhar Lytvynenko were awarded personal diplomas.
— Deputy Director of the enterprise for scientific work, Head of the experimental and testing complex of the State Enterprise «Ivchenko-Progress» Yurii Torba and Deputy Director for Personnel, Infrastructure and Social Affairs Vitaliy Nesmashny determined the winner in the special nomination from the State Enterprise «Ivchenko-Progress». The winner was the «FitHome» team consisting of Mark Kovalenko and Hryhorii Botvinov.
— Director of the Zaporizhzhia Cluster «Engineering — Automation — Mechanical Engineering» Andriy Karpenko also awarded the winners in the special nomination. These are the teams «CNC_Tech», «AirSunBoost» and «3-T».
— Head of the Central Branch of JSC «Credit Agricole Bank» in Zaporizhzhia Taras Karlenko and Head of the Third Branch of JSC «Credit Agricole Bank» in Zaporizhzhia Olha Lobur determined the winners in the special nomination of Credit Agricole Bank. These are the teams «AirSunBoost», «3-T» and «Young Officer».
— Head of the Noosphere Engineering School of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Oleksiy Shevchenko announced his special nomination and, for his part, supported the winners – the teams «AirSunBoost» and «CNC_Tech».
