The winners of last year’s «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» received a patent for a useful model!
This year’s Business ideas competition «STARTUP with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» is gaining momentum and it’s time to tell about the successes of last year’s winners. Student BAD-612sp Ivan Zhavoronkov and military officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Maksym Chebotar, in addition to a diploma and financial incentives, received support in applying for a patent and assistance with the implementation of an experimental model. And today the guys have a patent for a useful model of a kinetic energy storage device!
The proposed technology of the winners will allow consumers to reduce their electricity costs and guarantee the stability of its supply even during a blackout.
In the final of last year’s competition, the Engineering School «Noosphere» agreed to sponsor an experimental model of their device, and the head of the patent and information department, Nataliia Vysotska, provided support and assistance in the preparation of a patent application, which the participants prepared at their own expense.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University creates a space for the realization of the intellectual potential of young people, supports the most daring undertakings for the development of their hometown and country!
