IV Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Physical Culture and Sports: Traditions, Experience, Innovations”
On March 12, the 4th Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation «Physical Culture and Sports: Traditions, Experience, Innovations» organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management was held at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University.
This year’s conference brought together more than 50 scientists, teachers, young researchers, graduate students and students from various institutions of higher education in Ukraine and abroad. The conference was co-organized by leading educational and scientific institutions, including the Kazakh National University of Sports, the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute, the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and other partners.
The participants were addressed with a welcome speech by Viktor Greshta, Rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, Svitlana Kokareva, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management, Serhiy Bronin, Vice-Rector for Digitalization of the Kazakh National Sports University, Liubov Chekhovska, Head of the Department of Fitness and Recreation of Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, and Liubov Chekhovska, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management of Zaporizhzhia National University polytechnic” Vasyl Mazin. They emphasized the importance of the development of modern sports science, the introduction of innovative technologies in physical education and the activation of international cooperation between universities.
The work of the conference covered a wide range of current scientific problems in the field of physical culture and sports. The discussion took place in the following main directions:
– innovative technologies in the physical education of different segments of the population
– professional, Olympic and Paralympic sports
– theoretical and methodological foundations of professional training of physical education specialists
– adaptive physical culture, physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy and kinesiotherapy
Scientific achievements were shared by representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, T.G. Shevchenko Chernihiv Collegium National University.
The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is an important center for the development of scientific research in the field of physical culture, sports and a healthy lifestyle, as well as an effective platform for the exchange of experience between scientists, practitioners and young researchers.
Based on the results of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific materials.
