II All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference of Students, Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists with International Participation “Youth in Aviation: New Solutions and Promising Technologies”
On November 27–28, the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology hosted the second scientific and technical conference dedicated to the future of aviation since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The event was held in a mixed format and brought together representatives of 16 leading higher education institutions, 5 scientific institutes, and 4 enterprises.
The conference was opened by the executive secretary of the conference, acting dean of the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design, associate professor of the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology Olha Babenko. The participants were welcomed by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta, the head of the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology Dmytro Pavlenko, the deputy director of Ivchenko-Progress JSC for scientific work, the head of the experimental and testing complex Yurii Torba, and the chief metallurgist of Motor Sich JSC Yevhen Sotnikov.
Traditionally, the event’s partners are JSC «Ivchenko-Progress» and JSC «Motor Sich», which always support innovative projects and contribute to the professional growth of young talents.
Young scientists gathered to present their ideas, impress with their creativity, and jointly shape a new vision for the future of the industry. The conference was attended by scientists from leading scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine, Georgia, Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic.
The conference had five sections: Design and Strength, Production and Repair Technology, Aviation Production Materials, Avionics and Radio Systems, Production Support and Organization. Participation in the conference is an important step for students, postgraduates and young scientists. It contributes to their scientific and educational development, expanding knowledge. This is a good opportunity to share their research and ideas with the international community, as well as to conduct an approbation of PhD dissertations.
The Youth in Aviation Conference is a platform for the exchange of ideas, experience, and scientific achievements, for the birth of new solutions and promising technologies that will become the basis of the future of aviation.
