The second day of the forum «Skills of the Future. Ukraine»
Today, October 13, the two-day forum «Skills of the Future. Ukraine» concluded its work. This day was dedicated to the topic: «Skills and competencies of the future – prerequisites for the development of innovative educational programs.»
The work of the second day of the forum was opened by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta, emphasizing the relevance of the forum topic, the need to acquire modern skills and form competencies for the use of innovative technologies today. The head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Andriy Butenko joined the forum. During his speech, he focused on issues related to the role of universities in the future of Ukraine and the transformation of education into a leading segment of the Ukrainian economy. He noted that Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is very actively creating platforms for discussion in the field of higher education. He stressed the importance of discussions between representatives of educational institutions, government agencies, employers and local governments.

The participants joined the practical case «Labor Market of Ukraine. Cooperation of the State Employment Service with educational institutions during the implementation of state programs for retraining and education» by Denys Oliynyk.
Also during the event, the project «Cross-domain competencies for healthy and safe work in the 21st century» of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University was presented by Oleksiy Kuzkin.
The forum participants joined the mini-training «Managing personal knowledge as the basis of a successful career in the modern world» by Viktoriia Oleshko, a facilitator and expert in knowledge management.
The topics discussed provided an opportunity to better understand the importance of developing skills and competencies for a successful future. The presented reports and discussions inspired the participants to further work in the field of education.
The forum also became a place for an active exchange of ideas and experiences between the participants. An important aspect was the practical focus of the event, which consisted in considering real cases and opportunities for cooperation between different sectors of education and the labor market.
