“Applicant-2026”: park volleyball competition

On March 14, the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University hosted a park volleyball competition as part of the comprehensive sports event “Entrant-2026”. The tournament brought together active youth from secondary and vocational pre-higher education institutions in Zaporizhia and the region.

A total of 63 participants took part in the competition: 6 teams among girls and 5 teams among boys. A real sports atmosphere reigned on the volleyball court. The participants demonstrated good technical training, teamwork and desire for victory.

Competition results:
Boys:
1st place — team of the ZOL Zakhiznyk
2nd place — team of the Economic and Legal Professional College
3rd place — team of the OZZSO Suzir’ya OMR

Girls:
1st place — Zaporizhia Academic Lyceum No. 93
2nd place — team “Fashion” (Zaporizhzhya Professional College of Fashion and Style)
3rd place — team “Style” (Zaporizhzhya Professional College of Fashion and Style)

The competition became a bright event of the sports part of the event “Applicant-2026”, contributed to the popularization of volleyball among young people and gave schoolchildren and students the opportunity to get to know the sports life of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University better.
