Our participants have already won prizes and special awards in the competition, so this meeting was a logical continuation of their success – a time for thoughtful conversations, analysis of results and planning of new steps.

Together, they discussed the competition tasks, format and features of the competitions, as well as how the competition conditions have changed over the past years.

Rector Viktor Greshta proposed using the university’s cogeneration plant to conduct practical classes and research work for students.

Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants Yevhen Potapenko shared ideas for further research in the field of digital energy, which could become the basis for new team projects.

Dean of the Faculty of Information Security and Electronic communications Natalia Furmanova emphasized the importance of multidisciplinary training that combines telecommunications, energy, IT and automation, as well as language training, in order to strengthen the competitiveness of our students in such international competitions.

Senior lecturer of the Department of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications Harry Moroz proposed organizing a number of events that would combine study and quality recreation: informal technical meetings and educational and entertainment activities for students.

The meeting resulted in a common vision: students’ participation in technological competitions and projects is not a one-time episode, but the start of long-term development of teams, strengthening their scientific and engineering potential and expanding the university’s partnerships with business, industry and international academic community.

Working together – developing together!
