Meeting of the Academic Council of the university

On October 21, the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” held a regular meeting of the University’s Academic Council.

During the meeting, a number of strategically important issues related to the educational, scientific and organizational activities of the university were considered. Among the key topics: the results of the annual rating assessment of scientific and pedagogical staff, departments and faculties; the results of the certification of graduates of bachelor’s and master’s programs in 2024/2025 academic year; the activities of LLC “Science Park “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”” and the Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Youth “Children’s and Youth Scientific University”; the formation of one-time specialized academic councils, admission to doctoral studies and recommendations for the publication of scientific works; approval of the educational program for advanced training.

Doctor of Philosophy degrees were solemnly awarded to Larisa Tumarchenko, Oleksandr Zavhorodny and Ihor Doroshenko. Alla Kovaleva received the associate professor’s certificate.

The following scholarship holders were awarded:
– the scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was received by Olga Yabchenko (gr. BTU-0213)
– the scholarship named after M. S. Hrushevskyi — Anastasia Steshenko (gr. GF-313)

For many years of conscientious work, professionalism and dedication to the university, the following were awarded the badge “For impeccable work” of the 3rd degree:
– Andriy Pyrozhok, head of the department “Electric drive and automation of industrial installations”
– Larisa Koval, head of the scientific library sector
– Tetyana Kuzina, leading economist
– Viktoria Filonenko, leading accountant
– Alena Lyashova, leading specialist of the department “Foreign Philology and Translation”
– Galina Pashych, cleaning lady of dormitory No. 5
– Serhiy Hrytsay, senior lecturer of the department “Transport Technologies”
– Serhiy Deev, senior lecturer of the department “Electric drive and automation of industrial installations”

The following were awarded diplomas of the district administration of the Zaporizhia City Council for the Oleksandrivskyi district:
– Angelina Bialyostska, senior laboratory assistant of the department “Automobiles, heat engines and hybrid energy installations”
– Yana Vikhlyaeva, senior lecturer of the department “Social work”
