Meeting of the Academic Council of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University

On August 28, a meeting of the Academic Council of the university was held at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting:
? Election by competition to the vacant position of heads of departments
? Work plan of the Academic Council of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” for the 2025–2026 academic year
? Conducting internal monitoring on issues of documentation management, admission to study and quality of educational activities
? Creation of an educational and scientific laboratory of advocacy within the structure of the Faculty of Law
? Creation of a structural unit of the university – Startup School of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”
? Program of psychosocial support and development of mental health of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”
? amendments to the Admission Rules of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” for 2025
? recommendation for the publication of scientific and educational literature
? workload of scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”

During the Academic Council, the diplomas of Doctor of Philosophy were solemnly awarded to Serhiy Chygileychyk and Alena Sadykina. Also, the first vice-rector Serhiy Shylo received a diploma of candidate of sciences.

The certificate of associate professor was presented to Andriy Skrebtsov, Olena Ostroglyad and Natalia Ostrovskaya.

The prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for special achievements of youth in the development of Ukraine was awarded to Snezhana Vychuzhanina, head of the department of scientific work of students.

The diploma of the III degree for winning the International student professional creative competition “Materials Science” was received by Vitaliy Loferdyuk.

Certificates for excellent work as a scientific supervisor of participants and The winners of the International Student Professional Creative Competition “Materials Science” were awarded to Oleksandr Mityaev, Volodymyr Pleskach, Ivan Akimov, Yulia Petrusha, Valentyna Povzlo and Anna Dzhus.

Associate Professor of the Department of Labor and Environmental Protection Serhiy Silenko and Lecturer of the Department of Social Work Tetyana Novak were awarded a diploma for many years of conscientious work, personal contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, active position in the public life of the university.

A certificate for conscientious work, organization and provision of the educational process and on the occasion of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University was awarded to the dispatcher of the Faculty of Information Security and Electronic Communications Hanna Turpak, leading specialist of the Department of Accounting and Finance Maryna Shevtsova, heads of educational laboratories of the Department of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications Galina Sydorenko and Yevgenia Kolesnikova, senior laboratory assistant of the Department of Digital Technologies in Business and Economics Natalia Lyashenko.

Thanks for many years of conscientious work, personal contribution to the preparation highly qualified specialists, an active position in the public life of the university and on the occasion of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University were awarded to Viktoriya Koval, a senior lecturer at the Department of Philosophy, and Mykhailo Zaluzhny, a senior lecturer at the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants.

For conscientious work, organization and provision of the educational process and on the occasion of the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, the head of the educational laboratory of the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports Andriy Pashchenko, head of the educational laboratory of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants Lidiya Tertyshna, and laboratory assistant of the Department of Physical Materials Science Andriy Danilin were awarded with gratitude.

Gratitude for responsibility, initiative and professional approach to work was presented to the laboratory assistant of the Department of Special Education Ksenia Koshlyak, the senior laboratory assistant of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Anna Vazhnycha, the senior laboratory assistant of the Department of Systems Analysis and Computational Mathematics Yulia Potapova.
