Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in the network of start-up schools — incubators — accelerators of Ukraine!
On May 23, representatives of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University took part in an official meeting on the occasion of the launch of an all-Ukrainian network of startup schools – incubators – accelerators. The university was represented by: senior lecturer of the Department of Machine Parts and Lifting and Transport Mechanisms Dmytro Kozak, student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Valeria Sira (E–111) and head of the Department of Student Research Snezhana Vychuzhanina.
NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” was selected for the network by the Council of the Ministry of Education and Science for the Development of Innovations as an institution with a desire to promote the development of an innovative ecosystem and the formation of new entrepreneurial ideas.
Participation in the network will provide university startups with access to financial, consulting, information, communication and educational services. This will promote the use and commercialization of scientific and technical developments, and will also help support the creation, implementation and promotion of innovative products.
The participants were welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Denys Kurbatov, and representatives of the Innovation Development Fund, who presented the vision and next steps for the development of the network.
During the event, startup movement participants could personally communicate with the teams of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Innovation Development Fund, as well as take part in special educational and networking activities for the development of startup culture in Ukraine.
The initiative is being implemented within the framework of a pilot project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the Innovation Development Fund innovations.
