Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic started a series of webinars of the "Training School of Mental Health" within the activities of the Community of Universities "How are you?"

On September 16, a new psychoeducational project of the Community of Universities “How are you?” — “Mental Health Training School” — was launched.

The event was solemnly opened by the head of the Coordination Center for Mental Health under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Oksana Zbitneva, presenting a series of webinars of the “Mental Health Training School” within the framework of the activities of the Community of Universities “How are you?”. Alena Sadykina officially launched the project, inspiring participants to actively participate in the webinars.

? The first webinar in the series — “Forming Resilience Skills in Wartime” — was conducted by Alyona Sadykina, a candidate of pedagogical sciences, a teacher at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University, and an experienced trainer of the Israeli Coalition for Trauma Programs, sharing effective techniques for maintaining calm and confidence in the most stressful moments.

During the webinar, teachers from the departments of psychology, social work, public health, sociology, and pedagogy, as well as specialists in psychological services, students, and participants from various higher education institutions of Ukraine mastered effective tools for stress regulation, reducing anxiety, and supporting themselves and loved ones in crisis conditions.

?The “Mental Health Training School” is a space for mutual exchange of experience and best practices. practices of supporting psychological resilience in universities. The school’s professional coaching staff includes teachers and specialists from psychological services of participating HEIs, as well as leading experts in the field of mental health.

The project is implemented within the framework of the All-Ukrainian mental health program “How are you?” — initiatives of the First Lady Olena Zelenska with expert support from the Coordination Center for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
