The Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University has become one of the partners of the international consortium implementing the SEDWU project — Scalable Electronic Document Workflow for Universities: Enhancing Efficiency, Autonomy and European Integration.

The project received funding within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 program “Developing the Potential of Higher Education”, the results of which were announced on July 15, 2025 by the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA).

SEDWU is a joint initiative of Ukrainian and European universities aimed at creating a scalable, adaptive and secure electronic document workflow system for higher education institutions.

The main goal of the project is to digitize document management. Among other goals:

— implementation of modern digital management tools
— increasing the level of data protection and cybersecurity
— optimization of administrative processes and reducing the time for making management decisions
— development of employees’ competencies in the field of digital governance
— the university’s contribution to the formation of a national strategy for digital management in educational institutions
— increasing the university’s readiness to work in the context of European integration, in particular compliance principles of the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education Area
