English lessons based on the ReallyEnglish platform within the English4Ukraine project
The Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University is happy to create opportunities for development, in particular to improve the level of English language proficiency.
In the spring semester of the 2024–2025 academic year, thanks to cooperation with Mariupol State University, access to the ReallyEnglish platform was provided as part of the English4Ukraine project.
The platform contains 30 training courses (A0–C2), which cover general, academic and professional English, business English, preparation for the international exams IELTS, TOEIC and TOEFL.
The following joined the training: scientific and pedagogical workers and students of our university, as well as representatives of its separate structural divisions.
As the participants noted, the knowledge and skills gained contributed to their personal development, helped in their studies, daily work and communication with foreigners.
The ReallyEnglish platform was assessed as user-friendly and some ideas for its improvement were offered.
More than forty participants successfully completed one or two courses, and almost all plan to continue learning English, so we are looking forward to continuing the project.
