Visit of representatives of the Communist Party of Ukraine at Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University to K. D. Ushinsky State University: new opportunities for cooperation

At the end of October, representatives of the National Contact Point “Horizon Europe” at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University – head Dmytro Pavlenko and leading specialist Myroslava Shchetinina – visited the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky in Odessa to intensify scientific cooperation.

The NCP plays a key role in supporting Ukrainian scientists in participating in European grant programs. The main tasks include informing about competitions, consulting on preparing applications, organizing workshops, and improving the competence of university teams.

During the visit, meetings were held with the administration, teachers, and young scientists of the university. The practical aspects of preparing project applications for 2026, mechanisms for forming consortia, criteria for evaluating proposals and typical errors in document preparation were discussed. Particular attention was paid to opportunities for young researchers: individual grants, mobility programs and internships in European centers.

The first steps were taken to expand international cooperation of the K. D. Ushinsky Polytechnic University. Its active community is ready to take an active part in European research initiatives within the framework of Ukraine’s integration into the European educational and scientific space.
