Visit of representatives of Caritas Zaporizhzhia and a French volunteer to Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and ZEFC
Thanks to the initiatives of the rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Viktor Greshta and the director of ZEFC Ruslan Kosheluk, on December 5, on the eve of St. Nicholas Day, on Volunteer Day, representatives of Caritas Zaporizhzhia Serhiy Makota and Andriy Khyzhniy, as well as Alla Poedi, a pro-Ukrainian activist, university lecturer and volunteer of Ukrainian origin who has lived in France for many years, visited NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and our Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical Vocational College.
Together with the first vice-rector of NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” Serhiy Shyl and the director of ZEFC Ruslan Kosheluk, the guests greeted the primary school students of the Orikhiv school “Suzir’ya”, whose community was forcibly displaced and found shelter on the basis of our college. Ms. Alla gave the children gifts from volunteers living in France. After the festive part, the honored guests toured the educational spaces, got acquainted with the history of the college, and talked with the students.
And at Zaporizhia Polytechnic, the university staff prepared an interesting tour of the modern spaces of the Polytechnic.
They visited the Educational Hub for Displaced Teachers based on the University’s Scientific Library, as well as the Quantum Educational and Scientific Experiment Center, where schoolchildren and students conduct research, search for innovative engineering solutions, and develop their first scientific projects.
We thank Ms. Anna, Mr. Sergey, and Mr. Andriy, as well as all the people of France for their unlimited support of the young Ukrainians! We are always waiting to visit and are ready to build the future together!
