Visit to the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden

The Head of the Department of Machines and Foundry Technology Valery Ivanov in July 2025, at the invitation of the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTN AW), where he got acquainted with the infrastructure, educational and scientific areas of activity of our long-standing and reliable international partner. 

The four faculties of OTN AW offer a wide range of relevant educational programs in the fields of energy and ecology, engineering, business, computer science and media, healthcare and education.

During the visit, thanks to the efforts of our employees, doctors of sciences, professors Dmitry and Kateryna Antonyuk, there was an opportunity to get acquainted with the areas of research in OTN AW:
?development of networked, efficient and resource-saving production systems
?their digital transformation
?material technologies
?production automation
?application of artificial intelligence in production processes

The results of the visit outlined the details of cooperation and prospects for joint educational and research projects.

Starting next year, with the support of DAAD, within the framework of the “German-Ukrainian University Network” program, a new double degree project TANDEM-UA-DE (Teaching and Administration Network for Double Degree Education and Mobility — Ukraine and Germany) will be implemented with the participation of the AW University and 6 Ukrainian universities: https://zp.edu.ua/tandem-ua-de-novyy-proyekt-z-nadiynymy-partneramy
