Visit to Częstochowa University of Technology

Within the framework of the signed memorandum of cooperation, the head of the Department of Machines and Foundry Technology Valery Ivanov, associate professor of the Department of Machines and Foundry Technology Andriy Parkhomenko, and the head of the Department of Metal Pressure Processing Anton Matyukhin visited the Częstochowa Polytechnic (Poland) to conduct joint scientific research on the unique equipment of the Faculty of Production Technologies and Materials Science.

These studies were related to obtaining samples from mixtures of titanium and hydroxyapatite powders by plasma sintering using various technological modes.

Based on the results of the research and training, our colleagues received the corresponding certificates of internship – familiarization with the possibilities of pressing and sintering powder materials using the spark-plasma technique sintering.

We would like to thank the staff of the Częstochowa Polytechnic and personally the rector Marek Warzecha and the dean Sebastian Mroz for the opportunity to conduct scientific research on modern equipment.
