Congratulations to the winners of the International Student Marketing Essay Competition!
On December 2, the final of the International Student Scientific Paper Competition “Siver Student Science” in the specialty “Marketing” took place. The competition was held at the National University “Chernihiv Polytechnic” with the support of universities in Great Britain, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Spain, and Germany.
40 papers were submitted to the competition. The authors of the 14 best were invited to participate in the final, including a student from the BTU-1112 group, Natalia Ladyzhenko.
The topic of the scientific work — “The role of fan communities in shaping marketing strategies of the Wizarding World brand” sparked discussion not only because of the novelty of the topic, but also because of the unusualness of the chosen object of research — the magical universe of Harry Potter.
A feature of the study was that the participants were surveyed via TikTok, which made it possible to obtain up-to-date data on the behavior and preferences of fans in real time. This turned out to be an important tool for analyzing various audience segments and made it possible to highlight scientific novelty, as for the first time a typology of fan community participants was made.
As a result, Natalia was awarded a diploma of the winner of the II degree, and her scientific supervisor, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Logistics Nina Pavlishyna, was awarded a certificate of gratitude.
