From the NUS STEM project to the STEM ecosystem

On November 13, teachers of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” took part in a webinar organized by UNESCO with the support of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), dedicated to the topic: “From the STEM project of the National University of Science and Technology to the STEM ecosystem of the National University of Science and Technology: how to expand the boundaries of learning with the help of European standards of science education.”

The speaker of the webinar – Larysa Grabovska, ambassador of the European scientific education community Scientix, methodologist and developer of STEM projects, candidate of technical sciences, told:
– how to integrate European standards at the level of school STEM/STEAM projects
– how to use ready-made educational content created by European researchers and educators
– how proven educational scenarios help confirm the effectiveness of each voiced theses

According to the results of the event, our teachers: Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics Dmytro Anpilogov, Associate Professor of the Department of Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises  Kateryna Bratkovska, Head of the Training Laboratory of the Department of Electric Machines Hanna Dyomicheva, Associate Professor of the Department of Automobiles, Heat Engines and Hybrid Power Plants Vadim Kubich, Assistant Professor of the Department of Electric Machines Svetlana Lapkina, Director of DYUNU, Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants Olena Nazarova, and Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics Nataliya Snizhko successfully passed the testing and received certificates confirming their competence and readiness to introduce modern European approaches into the educational process.
