Webinar "Building bridges: strategies for finding partners for the Horizon Europe program"

On April 29, the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe Research Infrastructures held a webinar “Building Bridges: Partner Search Strategies for Horizon Europe”. The event was organized in cooperation with the National Contact Point for WIDERA – “Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area”.

The webinar was opened by Igor Taranov, Head of the Horizon Europe Office in Ukraine. In his welcoming speech, he emphasized the importance of increasing the participation of Ukrainian scientists in the program, emphasizing the need to expand international cooperation for integration into the European Research Area.

Olga Sulema, PhD, Head of the NCP in the WIDERA area, focused on key aspects of consortium formation. She provided recommendations on the selection of partners, the distribution of roles in Horizon Europe projects, and the definition of effective strategies for building partnerships.

Larysa Tumarchenko, Leading Specialist of the NCP in the Research Infrastructures area, presented the capabilities of the EU Funding & Tenders portal as a tool for finding partners and participating in competitions. Participants learned about the practical aspects of navigating the platform, searching for relevant competitions and partners, and submitting project proposals.

The event was attended by more than 70 representatives of higher education institutions, scientific institutions, and project offices from different regions of Ukraine. At the end of the webinar, participants had the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers and receive professional answers, which allowed them to better understand the mechanisms of participation in the Horizon Europe program.
