Grand opening of the FREETIME summer playground – we have officially launched

On July 3, we opened a space where young people can spend time outdoors, relax, communicate, and implement their own initiatives despite everything!

The opening began with welcoming remarks by the rector of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta, deputy head of the district administration of the Zaporizhia City Council for the Oleksandrivskyi district Mykhailo Kalganov, UNICEF representative and youth program coordinator Olena Kyselova.

During the event, guests enjoyed delicious drinks, tasted cotton candy, met like-minded people, and also left their ideas and impressions about the site at the “Wish Corner” location.

At the end of the event, participants were treated to a raffle of nice gifts from the university and the organizers of the mini-initiatives competition.

FREETIME is a place for relaxation, learning, and joint initiatives. And we are already preparing for a busy season: master classes, movie nights, tabletops, art events and many more interesting things ahead.
