Participation of NU "Zaporizka Polytechnic" in the meeting of NKUTPM
On November 11, a meeting of the National Committee of Ukraine on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (NCUTPM) was held. NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” was represented by Vice-Rector for Scientific Work Vadym Shalomeeyev, who is a member of this committee.
The meeting presented a report by the Chairman of the NCUTPM, Academician of the NAS of Ukraine Vyacheslav Bogdanov on the work of the committee for 2023–2025. Reports by academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Anatoly Bulat and Roman Kushnir on the outstanding scientific achievements of scientists from the Dnieper and Western regions were also presented.
Based on the results of the work of the NCUTPM, a navigation map of current research trends and topics for inter-institutional cooperation and technology transfer was formed, and a development plan for the National Committee was developed to promote the strengthening of scientific ties, the increase of the role of science in society, and the emergence of new interdisciplinary initiatives.
