Training “Gender as Mainstream. Gender and Inclusion”

? On May 15, students and teachers of the Faculty of Social Sciences took part in the training “Gender as Mainstream. Gender and Inclusion”, which was held at the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic”. The trainer was public figure Olena Poda.

During the training, the participants:
? worked on the basic issues of gender theory
? got acquainted with the legislative principles of the functioning of gender in Ukraine
? outlined ways to implement gender strategies
? discussed the activation of anti-gender sentiments in countries around the world

Various games and exercises were held to improve understanding of the concept of gender. Through interactive exercises, dialogues and reflections, students not only gained new knowledge, but also the motivation to form a society free from gender stereotypes. Step by step, we are moving towards creating a just, equal society!

The event was held within the framework of the project “Together We Can” of the Program for Empowering Public Leaders in Ukraine, which is implemented by the NGO “Social Interaction” and the NU “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” in cooperation with the NGO “Human Rights Foundation”. The implementation of the project is possible thanks to the support of the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
