Students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University won the International Creative Writing Competition

In the spring, students of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University took part in the III International Creative Writing Competition in English “Watch Reflectively, Investigate Honesty, Think Critically, Write Creatively!” based on the feature film “Interstellar”. The competition was held with the assistance of the Department of English Philology and Linguistics of the Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko.

67 participants from 27 leading educational institutions from Ukraine, the USA, Moldova, Lithuania, Turkey, Bulgaria and Hungary presented their works on the topic “The Role of Scientific Research and Critical Thinking For Global Sustainable Development and Technical Progress”.

Fresh-year students of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University are among the winners of the international stage:
2nd place – Anastasia Panchenko (KNT-124)
3rd place – Assol Mezentseva (KNT-124)

The students were selected after winning the university stage, where the places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Assol Mezentseva (KNT–124)
2nd place – Anastasia Panchenko (KNT–124)
3rd place – Polina Kharina (KNT–224), Milana Astion (KNT–114sp) and Semen Aizenstein (KNT–214)

All participants were prepared by the acting head of the Head of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Natalia Zhukova.
