Students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University won the International Materials Science Competition 

The International Student Professional Creative Competition “Materials Science” has ended, which was held at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University. The competition was implemented under the patronage of the I. M. Frantsevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, together with the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Lomza.

142 student projects from Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions were submitted to the II stage of the competition. 65 students were selected for the final round, among whom the winners were determined.

The prize places of the competition were taken by students of Zaporizhia Polytechnic: 
3rd place — Vitaliy Loferdyuk (BAD–212) and Larysa Samarska (BAD–213); scientific supervisor — head of the department of composite materials, chemistry and technologies Oleksandr Mityaev
3rd place — student of the group Tetyana Golumbovska (IF–213sp); scientific supervisor – assistant professor of the Department of Physical Materials Science Anna Dzhus 

The jury of the International Competition included the vice-rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Valeriy Naumyk.
