Students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University attended a shopper painting master class
On June 5, a master class on painting shoppers “Package! Go to the bag!” was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Institute, dedicated to World Environment Day. The holiday of creativity and environmental awareness for students was organized by the scientific library together with the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and student self-government.
The moderator of the event was Karina Boyko – senior teacher of fine arts at Zaporizhzhia Children’s School of Arts No. 1 and a member of the Zaporizhzhia Association of Artists “Kolorit”.
During the master class, the participants talked about the global environmental catastrophe – pollution of the planet with plastic. The participants watched the video “Plastic – a brilliant invention or a global problem?”, which became an important reminder of how dangerous a regular plastic bag from the supermarket can be.
Ms. Karina prepared drawing templates and helped the participants master new painting techniques. The students showed creativity and imagination: they created unique designs for shoppers that will be a great alternative to plastic bags.
The eco-bag painting master class is an important step towards conscious consumption for the benefit of the future.
Thank you to everyone who joined the master class!
