Students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University got acquainted with the work of the State Tax Service

On November 7, students and teachers of the Faculty of Business Technologies under the leadership of Dean Olena Vasilyeva and the Faculty of Law under the leadership of Dean Yuriy Filey visited the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Zaporizhia Oblast. During the tour, students saw how a modern tax service works from the inside: in action, in digital format, in a team of professionals.

The meeting was opened by the head of the department, Oksana Fedorova. She emphasized that the tax service is not bureaucracy, but effective tax administration, payment control, and service for taxpayers.

The students got acquainted with the work of the departments of financial security, tax audit, and electronic services. Professional acquaintance with the heads of the departments — Victoria Kulinich, Olena Rulevska, Iryna Lizogubova, Tetyana Khozyainova, as well as with the legal support department under the leadership of Olga Lysenko — provided a unique opportunity to learn more about the practical aspects of the activity, analyze real cases and receive professional recommendations.

The participants had the opportunity to personally assess the transformation of the tax service into a modern electronic format. These are updated digital services and paperless processes, automation of document processing and the introduction of digital technologies to increase the efficiency of tax administration.

This is the first meeting within the framework of establishing partnership between NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Zaporizhzhia region. Our next steps are to organize practical classes for students, joint educational projects and opportunities for internships in tax service departments.
