A student of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University took part in the seminar of the educational program "Scholarship" from the BF "Friends of the Children"
On August 1–2 in Kyiv, the Children’s Friends Charity Foundation (https://www.facebook.com/pryyateliditey) held an educational seminar on the topic “Your Personal Safety in the Modern World.” The seminar was attended by 16 scholarship holders of the foundation, among whom was a student of our university, Kateryna Lashchenko (group SN–112, specialty “Psychology”).
The seminar program was rich, interesting, and diverse. The speakers were:
— Head of the NGO “People”, social educator Dmytro Samarsky: he shared youth development programs, in particular international ones, focusing on “Erasmus+”, which promotes the integration of youth in Europe, and also gave advice on self-development in youth and social entrepreneurship
— Kseniya Chubova, child neuropsychologist, psychologist at the Center for Mental Health of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, systemic and family psychotherapist (in training) and co-founder of the psychological platform “Human Soul”: she discussed the topic of mental health with the participants
— experts from the Institute of Democracy named after Pylyp Orlyk Olena Samoilenko and Tetyana Stroy, who taught participants about modern mechanisms of disinformation and methods of content verification
— certified nutritionist, consultant on rational and other types of nutrition, certified teacher, lecturer in the field of culinary education, professional cook with experience in catering establishments, founder of culinary and creative space for children “Cooking Club” and “Sweet Moment”: held a meaningful conversation with participants about the resource that affects the psychological state, its search and preservation
— UCARE (USA) representatives Vira Petrusha and Olga Sumina: together with them discussed further cooperation and the implementation of new approaches to the implementation of the “Scholarship” program
In addition to the rich educational program, all participants visited the National Museum of Folk Architecture and life of Ukraine, where they got acquainted with the exposition of Poltava region and Podillia.
