A student of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is among the winners of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers on physical therapy

? On May 15, the final conference of the first All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific papers in physical therapy took place. The organizers were the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management – Department of Physical Therapy and Agrotherapy. At the first stage, the submitted papers were reviewed, and the second stage involved holding a final scientific and practical conference.

15 scientific papers from students from different cities of Ukraine were sent to the competition: Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Dnipro, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Uzhgorod and Chernivtsi. 7 authors of the best papers advanced to the second stage of the competition.

? The competition paper by Ilya Bidenko, who represented Zaporizhia Polytechnic, took third place. The topic of the work was “Development and analysis of a rehabilitation program for people with acubarotrauma”. The scientific supervisor of the winner was Olga Kovaleva, head of the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”.

The participants’ works covered the following topics:
?physical therapy of people with injuries resulting from military aggression
? correction of pathologies of the musculoskeletal system
? use of rehabilitation tools in working with anxiety disorders and eating disorders
? introduction of innovative technologies into recovery programs

The competition commission included representatives of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”. It was headed by the rector of the university, Viktor Greshta, and among the members of the commission was Oleksandra Kovaleva, associate professor of the Department of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
