"STARTUP with Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic": about finances with the chief accountant of the IP office

On March 24, the third open webinar was held as part of the business ideas competition “STARTUP with Zaporizhia Polytechnic”. The head of the Department of Financial and Economic Activities, Chief Accountant of the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovations, Yulia Borko, spoke about finances with the participants of the meeting.

Ms. Yulia provided professional advice on current issues of valuation and accounting of intellectual property and competently answered all the questions of the webinar participants. We discussed the intricacies of financial strategy and taxation, the role of patenting in the initial stages of a startup, the issue of royalties and net profit.
