Cooperation of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University and the Kazakh National University of Sports
From October 13 to 25, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports, Honored Coach of Ukraine Borys Kokarev was on a friendly business visit to the city of Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan). The visit took place within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Kazakh National University of Sports and the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
Borys Kokarev held lectures, master classes and practical classes for students and teachers in the disciplines of “Biomechanics” and “Introduction to the Coaching Specialty.” In parallel, the senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management, Sergey Smetanin, gave an online lecture.
The participants of the academic mobility program completed an international internship “Biomechanics and Sports Analytics in Higher Education: Integration of Science and Practice” and received certificates.
During the sports and methodological work, the following events were held:
– a lecture for students of advanced training courses for coaches in the national Kazakh wrestling Kuresh on the topic “Biomechanics and Sports Analytics in Higher Education, Mass Sports and Sports of Higher Achievements: Integration of Science and Practice”
– a flash mob “Morning Aerobic Warm-up” with students, teachers and employees of LLP “Kazakh National University of Sports”;
– master class for teachers “Methodology of teaching sports disciplines”
– discussion of the prospects for scientific and pedagogical, sports, cultural and other types of exchange and cooperation between NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and LLP “Kazakh National University of Sports”
– strategic planning of joint projects, in particular involving grant and state funding, as well as publication activity and publishing activities in national and international citation databases Scopus and Web of Science, educational and methodological publications and joint collective monographs
