A series of events for Youth Day in Zaporizhia

On August 6–12, a series of youth events dedicated to Youth Day took place in Zaporizhia as part of the “Youth Weekend” project. Students of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University took part in 5 diverse events organized by the Zaporizhia City Council and the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration.

On August 6, the Zaporizhia Regional Youth Center held an Intellectual Quiz “60 Seconds,” in which teams of 6 players participated. The Zaporizhia Polytechnic “Youth Movement” team took 5th place among 10 youth teams.

On August 7, the Forum of Frontline Youth Councils 2025 “Challenges. Actions. Plans” was held. The youth of Zaporizhzhia got acquainted with the activities of youth councils of the eastern regions of Ukraine. The participants developed a “Youth Map of Solutions”, which will be included in the state target social program “Youth of Ukraine” for the period 2026–2030, and signed a consortium between youth councils of the eastern regions of Ukraine.

On August 8, the Zaporizhzhia Regional Youth Center hosted a musical Friday “Kvartyrnyk”. Guests enjoyed the warm atmosphere and wonderful music performed by Zaporizhzhia musicians ?

? On August 9, the “Sports Saturday” took place, which was held at the Zaporizhzhia Regional School of Higher Sportsmanship. Students from Zaporizhia Polytechnic also joined the event – the aerobics team helped make the program more intense and energetic. Participants had several cool activities to choose from: team relays, swimming in the pool, bike ride, and wushu.

On August 10, students from Zaporizhia Polytechnic joined the training workshop “Zaporizhia – our common meaning”, which took place in the Zaporizhia City Youth Center. Implementing the concept of “Senses of Zaporizhia”, the participants together created a plan for the city of their dreams.
