Expanding cooperation for the development of engineering education

On March 19, a delegation from Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University visited the Zaporizhia Polytechnic Center for Vocational and Technical Education.

The delegation included: Rector Viktor Greshta, First Vice-Rector Serhiy Shylo, Director of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University Olena Nazarova, Head of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations Andriy Pyrozhok, and Associate Professor of the same department Volodymyr Osadchy.

The guests were hospitably welcomed by the Director of the Center Volodymyr Polukhin and Deputy Director for Educational and Production Work Andriy Liush. During the meeting, they conducted a meaningful sightseeing tour, presented modern specialized laboratories and demonstrated opportunities for the formation of practical skills in students.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation, in particular:
– development of joint project activities
– holding training sessions, professional skills competitions and olympiads
– involving schoolchildren, students of the center and university students in active engineering creativity

Special attention was paid to the importance of forming engineering thinking, increasing the prestige of engineering specialties, as well as introducing modern technologies and equipment into the educational process.
